Yoga Therapy for

STRESS &ANXIETY

Thursdays

5:30 - 6:30pm

Next course starts

Thursday 13th August.

This is a 5-week course.

These Group Sessions are suitable for people who experience all types of stress and anxiety disorders including:

  • Physical Stress

  • Emotional Stress

  • Traumatic Stress (including PTSD & CPTSD)

  • Acute Stress

  • Episodic Acute Stress

  • Chronic Stress

  • Generalised Anxiety Disorder

  • Phobias

  • Panic Disorder

  • Social Anxiety Disorder

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

  • Hoarding Disorder

  • Trauma & Stress Related Disorder

  • PTSD & CPTSD

A trauma sensitive approach is taken, meaning that all instructions are invitational and optional and your Therapist takes great care to minimise  potential triggers. Because of the invitational nature of the class,  you remain in control. You can choose to join in, take a break or even leave if you need to.

​

A typical session starts with breathing techniques, moves to gentle yoga poses and ends with a deep relaxation.

​

There is a maximum of SIX people in each session.

​

These sessions go for 1 hour.

​

You do not need to have any previous yoga experience and you do NOT need to be flexible, skinny or fit.

EMOTIONAL & MENTAL BALANCE

Mondays

5:30-6:30pm

Tuesdays 11:00am - 12:00

Wednesdays

These are 5-week courses designed to regulate and restore emotional and mental balance. 

​

There are THREE separate Courses.

 

The courses are suitable for people experiencing:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Mood Disorders

  • Personality Disorders

  • Emotional Disturbances

  • Stress

  • Trauma

  • PTSD

iREST MEDITATION

Saturdays

10:00-11:00am

Next course starts Saturday 15th August.

This is a 5-week course.

These sessions are suitable for EVERYONE.

iRest Meditation is a lying down guided meditation that progressively takes you deeper and deeper into relaxation.

​

It is based on the ancient tradition of Yoga Nidra and has been adapted to suit the conditions of modern life. When practiced regularly - a little and often - iRest enables you to meet each moment of your life with unshakable peace and wellbeing, no matter how challenging or difficult your situation.

​

iRest is simple to learn and easy to practice. It can be practiced by anyone, regardless of physical ability or experience with meditation. Once learned, iRest becomes a set of tools for life.
